Apex Azur works across the Côte d’Azur and the wider South of France, including Nice, Cannes, Antibes, Grasse, Mougins, Valbonne, Vence and the surrounding communes. If your property is a little further out, ask us anyway — travel is usually workable for larger projects.
Do you speak English?
Yes. Matt Cocozza is an English-speaking roofer and builder, so quotations, drawings and day-to-day site communication are all handled in English. That removes most of the misunderstandings that cause problems on renovation projects abroad.
How much will my project cost?
We do not publish prices, because no two properties are the same. We survey the job free of charge, then issue a fixed written quotation that sets out the work, the materials and the price before anything starts.
Is the survey really free?
Yes. The initial visit, the assessment of the work and the written quotation are all free and carry no obligation. You only commit once you have accepted the quotation in writing.
Can you handle a whole renovation, or just the roof?
Both. Alongside roofing and waterproofing we take on complete renovations, extensions, structural work and interior finishing. Where a project needs other trades, we bring in our established network of qualified local tradespeople and manage them for you.
How long does a new roof take?
A typical domestic strip and re-tile takes one to three weeks depending on the size of the roof, the condition of the timbers and the weather. We give you a realistic programme with the quotation rather than an optimistic one.
Do you work on properties owned from abroad?
Regularly. Many of our clients are overseas owners, so we are used to reporting by email and photo, agreeing decisions remotely and getting on with the work while you are away.
What happens if you find extra work once you start?
Hidden problems such as rotten timber or previous poor workmanship do sometimes appear once a roof is opened up. We stop, show you what we have found and agree the extra cost in writing before we carry on — you will never get a surprise on the final invoice.
